Simple Stereo question

With the stock stereo, does the antenae go up when using the CD player or just the radio??

When stock the antenna only goes up when using the radio

If you have the radio on, and already have a cd in, and then you hit the button to switch to cd, the antenna will stay up

hmmm..mine does not do that...it goes up when you switch to radio..no matter if a cd is in or not..and when switching to cd from the radio..it goes down..ive got the Alpine 9833..installed myself..not sure what I did differently.. or maybe its the head unit function?
