Unhappy Bad Wiper Motor..

After the Christmas snowstorm, my back wiper stopped working. When I turn the right stalk to get it moving I hear a little click noise and that's it. The fluid still sprays (well.. if you can call it spraying) but no wiper movement. How can I diagnose the problem, and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance..

It may be the gears are wiped out.
Check the arm attachment to the shaft. It may be loose. That has happen on a few of my cars.
If the attachment is tight then it might be the gears.
Have someone else turn it on and give it a push. See if that makes it go until toothless section comes along and then it stops.

Don't turn on wipers to move snow off the windows.

checked that the arm was on good and tight.. check.

took it off, went and turned it on then grabbed the knob with a pair of pliers and twisted.. nada.

i guess i just assumed it was fine to use the wiper to clear snow.. now it makes sense that it's not the brightest idea. i'm gonna assume the motor is bad. what parts to i buy and how do i replace it?

thanks

Can you twist that shaft with pliers at all? Or is it just stuck in place? What noise do you hear whne it's on and your next to it?
Check the fuse?

The rear wiper in the SM sec 6-2 page 23.
Removal
1. Wiper arm
1) Remove head cover from arm
2) Remove nut and wiper arm
2. Wiper Motor
1) Remove cap and special nut.
Be careful not to strike service tool against nozzle during removal. The cap is under the arm and the nut is under the cap.
2) Remove rear gate trim. Ref to [5-3]
3) Disconnect connector (motor and relay).
4) Separate washer hoses at joint.
5) Remove attaching screws and take out wiper motor ASSY.
Be careful not to damage o-ring when removing wiper ASSY.

The wiring diagram says there are 2 fuses. FB-7 fuse #11 and FB-11 fuse # 2. I do not now what the # after FB means. The FB is the fuse box by the drivers foot.

Trunk trim removal.
1. Remove trunk edge and front two hooks. Remove trunk mat.
2. Remove trunk rear panel trim.
3. Roll up weather strip, remove three clips and trunk side trim.
4. Remove eight clips, then upper trunk trim.
