blinking power light and change speed at 4000 RPM

Hi all,

My '94 SVX Subaru went to SUBARU garage last February to diagnosis, they told me that the OBD did not find the cause...the light failure "POWER" is still blinking ...

They change the strainer and gaskets...the automatic change speed from 4000 rpm to about 6000 rpm...i'm affraid.

I tried with the paper "How To Check Transmission TCU Error Codes", the engine does not start with the selector "D" and the "MANUAL" button...strange.

Thx
P-O

You're not supposed to start the engine - just turn the ignition "ON", depress the accelerator slightly, read the code(s) as instructed.

The engine can only be started in P and N positions for obvious safety reasons.

Kind regards,

Tapani
