I have 2 sets that I am not using I figured anyone that planed to go the koni route may want some so they did not have their car down while they got the struts done.
if anyone does want them you pay shipping and they are yours.
I'll PM you.

Re: OEM struts. Options?

I think part of the rear strut failure problem is the soft springs. Even with my new Koni inserts, they sure seem to be working hard with the stock springs. The front, not much activity at all.

Today/tonight I am installing 10" front coil over springs on the Konis on The Racer.
They are 300 inch pound QA1 springs.
On the back stock SVX struts go some 250 inch/pound 12" QA1 coil overs.
The Racer is down to about 2500 #s, and MUCH closer to a 50/50 weight ratio than most SVXi.
Tomorrow and Sunday Radarwiz will autocross it at The Pumpkin Carve.
New different size tires, different type, (radial slicks vs bias ply slicks)
Almost twice the spring rate,
No pressure.

No pressure at all!

You do want pressure. In fact around 25 psi up front 30 in the rear as she is an SVX and has more weight in front of the front axle than you would if you were having twins my friend.

I'm sure that was directed at me.
But I feel no pressure. Just as long as I'm not as bad as this guy:

Re: OEM struts. Options?

.

Dayle at Motorsportwarehouse sells front and rear struts for $370.00 /pair

http://svx-motorsport-accessories.st...et/farest.html

I don't know if he keeps them in stock, but it would be interesting to see what the date codes were on the struts/ packaging.

Why not swing by and get us a few dates from his struts? He apparently isn't following this thread.

I doubt he actually has them in stock. Someone orders from him, he gets them from his dealer, marks up the price and ships them out.
