Tire size

Can I put a 205x 60 x 16 on my car, I have a set of brand new Blizzak snow tires that came off the car my wife totaled . They will be bigger by 3.3 percent . Someone said there was a limit. This is on a 5 speed, if that makes a difference. I know MPH will be off by 2 MPH. Tire is approx 1" taller .

If you have s heavy duty clutch it should hold up.

Re: Tire size

Think the PO told me it was a WRX stage clutch? I have driven cars with high range gearing before. This will only be used in the winter and maybe. For 1,000 miles.

Re: Tire size

It won't make any difference to a clutch whatsoever.

Re: Tire size

I didn't think so either. I can easily take off in 2nd. Well the deal fell through. The tires match up better on the wife's Accord coupe. So I am looking so 205 55 16 snows. Just something to get it through the winter. Gona be a bad one.
