Water pump repair: what else?

So, it's time to finally put in that new water pump I've had in my garage for...well, let's not talk about how long it's been sitting in the box.

About nine years ago (!) I replaced the timing belt, along with the front main seal. I didn't do the water pump at the time because I was pretty broke. Now the water pump needs to be replaced.

What other incidental stuff should I just plan on replacing while I'm in there? I figured I'd get cam seals and probably a timing belt tensioner. Should I just get a new belt? I don't know what one of those looks like after nine years.

Thanks.

Yes get a new belt.
You should also replace the front main seal, and reseal the oil pump, install a new O-ring in the oil pump.

Right spot on with the tensioner. Also idler pulleys, the bearings do not last forever.
