Transmission question
I've been feeling the trans in my 92' slip a little when it shifts between 2nd and 3rd when the engine speed is below 2k rpm. It doesn't do it at 2k or above.
The trans was replaced by the previous owner recently and I've been keeping an eye on the fluid level and condition. Everything looks good there. I'm just wondering if it's something I should have checked out or not. Or am I just worrying for nothing? Thanks. |

Re: Transmission question
Is the job still under warranty?
You can never know at this stage if ur trans is failing or not. Maybe your brake band needs adjusting, but first revert to question 1.

Re: Transmission question
Check your fluid number one. It sounds like either too low of pressure under low idle causing it to slip. Normally the brake band will slip under all throttle pressures but it might not hurt to try adjusting it anyway.
