i was looking at my car and then it clicked in that the rear 1/4 panel isnt welded to the rood like every other car so i'm wondering, is it removable?

Re: removable rear 1/4 panel

I replaced most of the passenger's quarter on mine, I can tell you without a doubt that it is welded on and not fun at all to replace. I didn't replace the whole quarter though, just what was needed.

It was like that when I bought it. Got another set of stock wheels for it, but I might go aftermarket.

Not sure about the green, looks like some kind of paint pen, the junkyard I bought the parts car from marks dents with it. The red marks are grease pencil.

On top of the bathroom? Comic relief, but it is meant for a 4th generation Camaro. Also good for teasing purists on the forum:

Re: removable rear 1/4 panel

oh lame, i thought since there was no connecting pillar to the roof it might be a bolt on. too bad that would've been awesome if it was.

Agreed, and since the ones on the other side are correct, he cant switch a rim to make it correct, it seems to have been replaced with a wrong direction rim from another car

At any rate, postcount +1 !

The whole passenger's side of that car was torn up pretty bad, even the lower control arm was bent when I got it. Someone did a half assed job fixing it, which included getting that wrong wheel, replacing some of the plastics that covered the caved in understructure and filling the body with Bondo, but not actually fixing anything important. Luckily nothing really important was damaged, the wheelbase is now dead on since the control arm was replaced and the passenger's door which had no gap at all before has a beautiful gap and opens and closes like a brand new car.

When I swapped the control arm from my parts car, I put the correct wheel on from the parts car too, so now they all go the same direction but one is a different color at the moment.

Just glad I saved it before the other guy "finished" it, I can just imagine how much worse it could have been, I've seen some of his other hack jobs.

I looked long and hard at my parts car. I honestly believe that it is impossible.
