tranny? have any? standard?
my tranny in my 94 suub doesn't shift out of gear until about 25 miles an hour and about 4,000 rpm's. sometimes it shifts great though. if i'm on the interestet it pulls gret but once you get on it to kick down a gear it slips to neutral? think my clutches are burnt? what would be the problem. what all standard's can i look for? and does anyone have any?

Re: tranny? have any? standard?
You can get a "partial rebuild" SVX transmission from me for $999. They are upgraded to shift lightning fast, increase the torque holding capacity of the clutch packs which fail so they don't fail again, and increase the lubrication and cooling of the rear support thrust bearing so it doesn't fail. You'll also need to replace your atf cooler with a high capacity aftermarket unit--preferably mounted in the drivers fender with it's own fan, thermostat, and relay.
After that you'll have twice the car and never have to worry about your transmission again. http://www.ecutune.com/4eat.htm |

Re: tranny? have any? standard?
Check your TPS voltage at idle, at WOT, and the spread as you slowly and smoothly open the throttle. Thats what I would do. I would hate to see someone sell you are trans and still have the same issues. Proper repairs rely on proper diagnosis

Re: tranny? have any? standard?
Please feel free to check your tps setting but it's fair to assume unless someone has meddled with it it is correct. It's best to repair an automatic transmission when it is first failing rather than waiting for it to leave you stranded with a box with hard parts damage which costs you several thousand dollars more to replace.
