Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

Hey all, just wanted to share with the network that i've finally got my hands on a set of 4 Enkei Shogun rims. I have wanted these rims for years, unfortunately, enkei discountinued this style and I've been persistently scouring ebay for a set. Will have pics once they are put on.

They are some of my favorites as well, but if anything happened to them, I ddidn't know what I would do. Good luck and put some pictures up.

Re: Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

hmmm, didn't think about that...I suppose I'll have to drive very carefully.

also these rims come with hubcentric rings, are they even needed for our applications? I know one or two other members have these rims and it appeared that the shoguns were one of the few rims that were plug and play...

Also how do i know what width of tire I can run, currently there are 205/40's on there, would I be able to 225's?

Re: Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

i would stay with a 215 series tire. The roll from the 7" rim kinda sucks... They are definately not performance wheels but they doo look GOOD!!

Re: Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

I am not sure whether these rims will come with lug nuts, but just in case not, would the lugs below work? The ad claims it will fit shoguns, i just want to check with you all....

I dont trust the female lug nuts... I prefer male tuner lugseither the 10 or 5 points.

Re: Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

Well i definately think i FUBAR'D on this ebay auction, I could have sworn that all Enkei Shogun's were the same bolt pattern...looking at this pic, it doesn't look as if the these rims would fit my svx...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

the add said bolt pattern 4 x 3.93 or 4 x 100; what's really got me second guessing myself is that a newly listed set of shoguns is specifically advertised as a 5 lug which has a completely different set of lug holes...

I'm sorry to hear about this, especially since you were so excited to get them. I would try contacting the seller, they may be understanding of the mistake. (Provided it hasn't shipped yet) If it already shipped, you may have to host your own auction, that pattern is not going to work.

Yeah, it looks like you got a set of 4bolt universal wheels. Worst case scenario, you may be able to relist them on ebay, or throw them up for sale on a honda forum and hope you get lucky. Mistakes like this happen, best just to chalk it up to experience, eat the shipping costs, and try to sell for what you paid for htem. Good luck!

Re: Just won a set Enkei Shoguns!

Well I haven't even contacted the seller yet, so the wheels have not shipped. So there will be relatively little cost on my end. I am going to contact the seller explain my situation and offer to pay for the original listing cost due to the inconvienience.
