Question replaced water pump now engine isnt quite running normal

starts up normal and warms up normal but when driving it it feels like it is only pulling with four or five cylinders it doesnt sound like the engine doing it though its like the gear box it labouring the engine it could just be wearing in the water pump bearing i dont know any ideas? odd

You got the t-belt off a tooth it sounds like. That would be the first place to look for your issues.

If its only off one tooth, you can drive at reduced power for quite a while.
However, they each could be off a tooth.

You will not know untill you double check.
There are 48 teeth on your cam sprockets, that means that each tooth off
is 7.5° of cam timing off.
Since the camshafts turn at 1/2 the speed of the crankshaft, thats only 3.75°
off on crankshaft. Not much really.
If it were off one tooth at the crankshaft, it would be off the full 7.5°.
Much more noticable when driving.
I always remove the radiator so that I can reach and see things better when changing a timing belt.

It is not ok to drive it. Driving it could cause a more serious problem...

I had the same problem with it being off a tooth (really 2 I think it was) and it had a hunting idle and definatly had a loss of power. I didnt drive it but 5 miles while it was like that I think but get it fixed

hey guys pulled her apart again and yep out like two teeth got it all lined up and now shes smoother than ever i supect it may have been out wen i bought her but yer shes good as new now thanks guys
