As for your last post... a 9mm goes 1200 feet in a second. Your SVX doesn't.

I'm from Alabama and that's my excuse.

this thread makes me feel smarter.

"oh yeah, well i'm gonna mount laser guns to my SVX, and if people tailgate me, i'm going to let out a Chewbacca roar and shoot at them. yeah, that's what i'm gonna do. and then i'll throw ninja stars at them. yeah. they won't mess with me after that!"

G's as in g forces.

dont even get started. you act as if its easy to aim a gun from the front of a car to the back. think about it. they would have to turn around in their seats and stick an arm out the window, upon when you can 'nudge' them and maybe swerve to the other side of the road.
gimme a break here and put more thought into what you say.

i sincerely doubt you can get up to 15 mph ramming speed when they are right in front of you.

im from an abusive military family so dont even talk to me about my family or where your from. i dont care.

So, although you don't (and shouldn't) care. in order to disparage my comments you should at least know that I roadraced for 10 years in 4 different countries. I will admit to knowing something about vehicle dynamics. At this point in my career lifecycle I shoot for a living. I develop bullet, blast and fragment resistant products from concept to sales.

My assumption on your knowledge about guns and cars is that you've probably learned everything you know from re-runs of "Nash Bridges".

If you are ever in a situation where the bad guy has a gun, run. it's that simple. You will go from living to dead in 30ms (if you're 30 feet away) I'm not going to get into the mechanics of shooting from a moving car. But it sounds like you're willing to risk your life (and others) to nudge someone who's already displeased enough to shoot at you.

Maybe you've got an external excuse for being this way. If you recognise the problem you should do something about it.

You thought it was heavy NOW! I wonder what an SVX with Dualies would look like?

PhotoChoppers?

And you might as well put a gunrack in it for nikfu.

Ummmm, Why?

I personally think it's a very important message to say "Run from those that brandish a gun at you" as opposed to "Dodge the bullets and nudge them until your point is made"

you should even tell your kids that.

talk about getting out of hand. i doubt anyone here would be as dumb as trying some of the crazy stunts mentioned above. when in a bad situation, i believe that some of us would be more passive than described here.

All right guys. no fighting. If you want to debate that's cool. But Don't get into major fights. Also, take ideas from this thread with a grain of salt.

who is nash bridges?

look, if someone is going to shoot you, they are going to shoot you. you can either run away and get shot in the back, or you can stun them and run away from -their- behind, and have a better chance of living.
nomatter what you may know i doubt you have answers to such a situation. it doesnt matter if you race. it doesnt matter if you can load cock and fire a gun and tell me how it works. the fact is you havent been in the situation and you would probably be the victim.

as for "vicious personal attacks that you arent normally for", please exclude my father from them in the future. you dont understand how i welled up with rage as i read your post.
i shake and have cold sweats as i sit here now thanks to surging repressed memories.

I give up, you can lock the thread...

I'm just hoping none of us get into such a situation, and the more rational among us never get the urge to "stun" someone who's in a position to shoot us. (and run from their stunned behind) I think it only works that way in video games... at least that's what the obituaries lead me to believe. (30ms NikFu, 0.03 of a second)

What I really hope is that you're joking about all of this and I'm buying it hook line and sinker. I'm a maroon like that sometime.

my first post of ramming someone was never meant to be taken out of hand. it was meant as i lighthearted 'nikfu the dumbass' moment. then i told a story of mine that had nothing to do with anything important.

you shouldnt think you dont have a chance against someone just cuz they have a gun. it doesnt mean they are a marksman. and have you ever tried to hit a moving object behind you from the front of a moving vehicle?
im just asking you to think about what you are saying. guns dont aim and fire automatically in 0.03 seconds and if they did thats a better reason to turn tail go the opposite direction.

and as for video games, i only play racing and fighting sims.

a point on obituaries: ive never read a person had been killed by gunwound. they dont usually state how the person died unless its cancer. its out of respect.

All right guys, this is enough. We had our scary story, we had our fun. We don't need to go bite each other. I am in for locking this thread now. If you guys have anything personal to say, there are things called emails, and private messages. Use them pls.
