I don't care much for the big shows, I like it when they play the small clubs. Like the time at the L&G when Bolt Thrower ran out to the parking lot at started kicking tha crap out of my BRAT, or hanging out drinking beers and playing pool with LOA. I mean seeing your favorite band from 50yards away is cool but being pulled up on stage to have fire spitting strippers whip you with mic cables is awsome.

Well, I just got back, and all I can say is...damn. They get better every time. There were about 2500 people in there tonite, and they played better than the last time I saw them, which was in front of about 50000 or so people at Foxboro. Almost got to meet them tonite, too. I accidentally got sent into the "KoRn Meet & Greet" room, but was quickly escorted out by their event staff. Oh well, maybe next time.

As for selling out, I hate it anyone says a band does that, regardless of who they are. Anytime a smalltime, niche band makes it big, and starts making money, they're labeled a sellout. As long as they still make good music, I couldn't care less what they do. I personally think KoRn has been getting better with ever album, but thats my opinion.

I also had the opportunity to see Tool about a year ago at the same place. Unfortunatly, I was about two out of surgery, so it was out of the question. I've never really been a big Tool fan anyway. But with the pain killers I was on, it'd been one hell of a show!

Now, all I need to see is Ozzy Osbourne, Linkin Park, and Bloodhound Gang, and I will have seen all my favorite bands live at least once.
Only 2500 people? Cool... nice "small" show... lots 'o fun, eh?

I didn't mean sell-out due to making money, just because of the little music style changes. I just don't like it when (for whatever reason... band or label induced) the music starts to cater to the main stream and the radio. I think the music loses some of its "soul" then. I'm not trying to be an ass, but I haven't had the desire to buy one of their albums since Issues came out.

Sometimes I like it when bands get popular, like if I wasn't in the niche that liked their beginning stuff... then a little change brings them more into my desired style.

How can Ozzy still perform well? He seems like he gets revitalized by stepping on stage... and is no longer so ravaged by the aftermath of his old life style.

Linkin Park would be sweet to see... maybe in a few months or so when they roll through here (darn costly tickets). I can tell you Bloodhound Gang is interesting to see live... those are some goofy guys. They wouldn't play until they got girls in the audience to flash.

Maybe you should limit yourself to 9 hours of drinking... and sit under a shady tree. You'd probably be just fine then.

Can you count the number of bruises and cuts you got in the mosh pits?
