Cheap Race Fuel

I was studying up a bit on E85 as I have a station near my house that offers it, and the information is as varied as it can be (most of it false claims from the oil companies or the conversion companies). I did, however, stumble onto this thread:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=216205&page=1

It seems possible to use E85 as an efficient and cheap race fuel, from what the thread says. I was wondering, what could be possible for a NA SVX with larger injectors, increased compression, and more timing advance (or is it less? I'm not too technically astute)?

Just wanted to share, and see what your opinions are on the matter.
