drop 30+ lbs for $160
Been thinking about installing an Optima battery. I keep hearing claims that the batteries are lightweight. I checked it out, and it seems to be all hype. The OEM battery weighs around 40-45 lbs. All the Optimas weigh about 38 lbs. I guess its a few lbs, but not what I was expecting. So, I did a little more research, and found this battery:
<http://www.brailleauto.com/ProductCa...=2&idproduct=1> weight is 11.5 lbs which gives a ~30 lbs weight savings. Now that's some real weight savings. Hoping to install one sometime this summer. Chike, when are you getting one? :-))) BTW, and the thing is tiny. 6"L x3.5"W x6"T. Compare that with a normal battery: 9"x7"x9".
