Where Does This Hose Go?

I was looking into a faint coolant smell I started noticing in my car today when I noticed a hose just hanging not connected to anything. It is coming out of the firewall on the passenger side and hanging down by the catalytic converter. I have attached a photo of it. Anyone have any idea what this hose is for and where it should be going?
