Oh man, that really sucks!
Unfortunitely, I know a guy just like Montoya, every word is a lie. He is great at making you believe every word he says, even if you catch him in a lie, he has another lie to cover that one. The Guy I knew bilked people in Seattle for over $1.5M, but most wouldn't lift a finger to file a police report. Financially, I came out ahead (he was a client of mine), but mentally and emotionally I got screwed. Keep me posted on the outcome. |

That is the reason I never want to buy a used car, even though that's typically all I can afford to do. Just leads to to the same thing I say to everyone lookin at cars.... don't trust anyone.
Even at the Subaru dealership itself, I got under my SVX and inspected every last bit of it. I'm way too mistrusting and paranoid. You can only save yourself. -Sz PS: Love to hear the rest of the story and whatever outcome it had... do we know where the origin of it was?

This brings up an interesting point for myself. I am in the process of buying an SVX in the U.S. and will be exporting it to Canada. I never even thought of using carfax. Does anyone here have a carfax account that could do a search for me JF1CX3539NH109455 it would be appreciated. I have already purchased my one way ticket and would really hate to end up like the writer of that story
Thanks, Keith |
