Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

.

Watch Nevin's rear sway bar in action

ZMan used a slotted steel strap and he put a bend on one end to hold the camera using the threaded tripod hole. Then bolted the strap to one of the bottom mounting bolts ofthe sway bar bushing.

He had enough thread from the bolt to put the strap, then another nut to hold it. Also used a zip-tie to hold the camera carry strap to the sway bar as a safety.

How much easier today with a Go-Pro and Velcro.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Last batch was sold via the Facebook SVXWN page last fall. He MIGHT be persuaded to do more if you contact /friend him and he gets enough interest and he can get enough time. Last batch of 5 (min he would make) took ages to pre-sell. Waiting for Spring to install ours i.e. sometime in July.

Dayle at Motorsport warehouse has one available, If Nevin isn't ready to make another batch..... I have Dayle's on my Yellow 5-Speed, and I'm happy with it....But it reuses the original endlinks, which is OK with me, but some prefer stronger endlinks (which can be added to Dayle's)

Bummer. Haven't heard anyone else not getting theirs (via FB postings). Sorry it happened to you.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

I received an apologetic PM today from Nevin. I believe in my heart that there was just a screw up and, it sounds like my sway bar will be coming soon.
When it arrives, all will be forgiven on my part. I have been so enjoying the performance upgrade on the first one I purchased a couple years back, for the '92.

Great. Hope it works out. Spring car work season is just 4 months away.
