The Letter that got me a new engine

As promised, I added the 6 letter and fax I sent to my dealership which resulted in me getting a new engine installed in my car free of charge. I have removed all names except mine to protect the innocent. The letter tells the whole story of what happened and I outlined everything.

My dealer responded quickly and did a great job. I hope that if anyone else here is clearly wronged, that you can get the same results. I am no lawyer, but just a person that really really cares about his car and is willing to fight for what I felt was right. Hope you find them interesting!

Check them out in my locker:

Thanks,
jeff

Thumbs up Congratulations . . .

. . . on a job well-done, and a letter well-written.

Best of luck with your *new* '92.

WOW

You basically grabbed them by the sack and told them how it is!! That should be done with more dealerships.

about time someone took some action.

these dealerships only care about making money off you. service and value are not in the equation. good for you blue.

Excellent, to the point, well written letter. That's usually what gets the job done (let's hope it wasn't the threats that did it). It makes me feel good to see that someone makes good on their promise (i.e. the dealers slogan). I'm glad for you!
