Yep, putting it up for sale again.

I've had my fun with this car, and it's time to move on. I found a particularly nice 72 Opel GT project car near my house, so I need to get the svx outta here quickly. Will basically take any reasonable offer for it. You get whatever parts are in the car, radiator, trunk release lever (came off in my hand one morning) and the original radio, though it has a (if I say so myself) nicely installed WRX 6cd radio. will work with towing/shipping within reason.

I always liked the styling of the Opel GT, though they are a little under powered. Kind of a miniature Corvette.

That's my sister's '65 ghia, currently we're rebuilding a '73 super beetle engine to replace the original engine that was ruined when someone at the VW shop forgot to torque the flywheel down all the way.

The GT in question has a more powerful fuel injected 1.9l Manta engine coupled to a getrag 5 speed gearbox. all the GT needs is to reassemble the interior, wire up the lights, and give it a coat of paint.

I really need the SVX gone fast, so anyone, give me an offer.

how about 1000? its roughly a grand to ship it across the county (since I just did that...).

Please do yourself a favor and make sure you have quite a bit more money saved up than the purchase price of the car. These cars are cheap to buy, and expensive to own.

I hate seeing people just barely squeak the purchase in on their budget, only to not be able to afford the maintenance and repairs, then the car gets parted out, or sits in a garage for years.

Please don't take this as me being a jerk. I'm just trying to warn you.

I know, and what I'm saying is meant for everyone. I want the entire car gone by the end of the week, and I'm not going to spend several months pulling pieces off.

New parts have arrived for the car. new set of upper and lower manifold gaskets, and the new radiator. so the car will be running again inside of a week.
