O/T - adjustable ride height

Some years ago I owned a Mitsu Sigma. It was a gadgetized version of the Galant. One thing I always thought neat was the way it would lower the car about 1 to 1.5 inches at speeds over about 50 mph.

Sold the car while still under warranty (those days had 4 kids at home - the dreaded minivan syndrome), so never really looked to see how it operated.

Anybody know about this system and if it could be adapted (there's bound to be a few in wrecking yards)?
