sti alloy lateral links

looked through the suspension treads and couldn't see any treads for this so sorry if i'm repeating what some else has already done

I've always loved the look of the sti alloy lateral links, so I bought a set off eBay and fitted them up (they need a clean). The sti links weigh 2.964kg and the stock links weigh 4.178kg so that 1.214kg of weight gone for those of you on a diet

its a cheap sti mod and has good sti wank factor

What's a wank? Do wombats have them?

So, for the shade tree mechanics out there, is that mod for more bling appeal? What's the advantage?

I looks snappy.

BTW, love your wheel offset, looks slick the way SVX should be. Do you think it has any negative effect on your bearings?

Re: sti alloy lateral links

You're just looking at the weight reduction, since they don't offer any more adjustment than the stock links do. Would be even sweeter if you milled off the one tab and had them anodized.

Yeah I know there not adjustable but I not interested in adjusting them they are stiffer though and nice to look at when I'm lying under car swearing cause I just took some skin off my knuckles

I love the idea of anodising them, I was thinking of using the tabs for th sway bar

Wombats are definitely wankers especially if you hit them in your car

It's sti bling mainly for me just so I can justify the sti badge on the back of my car but the benefits are weight saving and according to sti a more rigid rear end for better handling

No issues with bearings on the rear with that offset and yeah I love the rear guards being filled with wheel
