Seriously, air-tools are ideal for spinning off the top nut without spinning the shaft, as well as making use of the spring compressor easier and much quicker. The rears are where one can certainly use an extra set of hands when removing the old and lifting the new assembly into place. Patience is required when pulling the interior pieces out without damage. Good luck!

I just recently had it done. Fastest way is to have someone on the outside removing the two main bolts, with someone on the inside pulling out the interior and unbolting the 3 strut bolts from the rear deck without getting your interior dirty.

I did mine (not counting the frozen bolts that broke several sockets attached ti a IR lightening gun) by myself in about an 1.5 hrs. The interior sounds much harder to take out than it really is. about 10 minutes. (I used electric or air tools for anything possible)

Not that bad of a job Jesus. Interior removal takes some thought if you don't have a service manual but is easy. Once that is out, the rest comes off quick with airtools. I remove the bolts that hold the strut to the hub first than the three interior bolts. Remember the orientation of the nuts on the lower bolts if you are using airtools as it affects how or if the impact wrench will fit (nuts on the front side fromw what I recall).
Drop the unit (strut and spring) out thendis-assemble them using spring compressors and an impact wrench on the top not. Spray the top nut with penetrating oil prior to dis-assembly. If the nut isn't spun off the strut rod easily with your impact-ie, rusted in place, you can have a LOT of fun trying to get it off. Todd
