Hi all

My name is Jake, and yesterday evening I bought a 1992 pearl and black SVX, so excited i barley slept all night, i just wanted to introduce my self!!!

I live about 1 hour 30 mis south of Sydnney, in the Southern Highlands, and i will pick up the car sometime next week!!!!! I am also a member of the RS liberty club. My current car is a 1990 lx liberty, with mags and exaust...

Hope to be able to chat to and meet up with other SVX owners at some stage

congrats, i have had my SVX for exactly a week now!
im sooo happy (allthough the first 3 days blew when the steering wheel was moving freely, but thats fixed)
i would like to meet some more svx owners. but there is not a huge amount down in victoria, a melbourne meet would be cool though

Very exciting! You live down the highway from Pete aka mr soob who has a white svx- some quality highway cruising in store for you...

I'm sure some dedicated svxs will be able to give you the complete history of your car when they know the rego- i can never remember any. Acually is it Martins from Bowral? His has been for sale for some time...

I will bring up some of petes suggestions for a drive and we can have a vote for one in the coming month ...or 6 weeks

I am missing my svx so much- it is in the shop. I'm very lucky because the wheel bearing was almost entirely worn through and apparently days from the wheel falling off! No wonder i was hearing some weird noises when turning at 100km on mona vale road!

I can see some quality time opening up in my schedule after July. Unfortunately, during July is looking pretty busy for me, with a trip to the QLD Airshow (not taking the SVX tho ), and then a yacht race at the end of the month.

But looking forward to some quality time with the rest of my bretheren.

That was Martin's second SVX - I met him a few years ago when he had a burgandy one that he was selling - a great guy and was kind enough to offer his gardens for a meet back in November 03 (seems like years ago now!)

I have some of the previous history of your car (I had seen it when it was being wholesaled from Sydney Mitsubishi on Parramatta Road before it went to Prestige Cars in Balmain)

Berger, congratulations also! Do you have the details of the previous owner/history of your car?

We try and keep track of where they go and what they get up to!!

hey Berger, I might be in melbourne with my car during the week beginning 10th of July, (not sure of exate dates yet) if your free we should meet up somewhere in the city and get some pohotos!!
