Thanks! unfortunately they were replaced once before, so I dont know if they were replaced now. The trans shop owner is a nice guy but is disabled and his dad, the master mechanic retired. Now he has these young inexperienced guys working in the shop. So, who knows?

Vacuumed the mice droppings from my engine bay

Thankfully there was nothing inside the car from what I could tell. It looks like it/they liked running around on top of the battery as it was connected to a trickle charger and must have been the warm spot.

Side note - I need to find a way to close the gap between the garage door and wall. Some sort of vertical sweep maybe?

We tried one of these during the winter for under the hood

Should be able to check how well it worked any warmer month now.

We place some organic (ceder?) packages in the car also. As a plus it smells really nice for a long time.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I finally got around to installing the MAPvss speed signal converter. Ever since I swapped in an 08 5-speed, I haven't had a working speedometer/odometer. This unit picks up signal from the ABS wheel sensors, and turns it into a pulsed VSS signal. Works awesome!

Still getting an ABS light, though. Might have a loose connection at a splice point. I need to figure out how to read the ABS codes.

Go to SVX INFORMATION WAREHOUSE

Look for the SVXIpedia link on the top of the page. Click.
Go to Checking Error Codes. Third from the top. Click.
How to Check ABS Trouble Codes is at the top of the list.

Or just go here for the printable version:

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Started reassembly of the intake manifold. Attached the painted fuel lines, throttle body and various other bits. Started attaching the viton vacuum hoses as well.

OT - Thanks for the IRIS o-ring. She fit beautifully

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

So clean and pretty. Looking good flystyle.

Today on mine I exchanged my Autozone alternator which had a slightly damaged post and installed the replacement alternator. Also installed my new OEM #1 coil which fixed my misfire.
