Girliest car

Take into consideration the available power, the design, the number of female drivers you notice driving the cars, and then overall girliness.

Beetle hands down. That's the only car so feminine that, well... only a really feminine guy would drive, and butch chicks would laugh at.

I liked them back when I didn't have nice car, but now... ugh. Flower powermobile.

I'm talking about the newer style. The older has waymore classic value as an icon, even if it is a piece of crap without an engine swap.

I voted Rav-4, because the only person I ever knew that drove one was a hot young girl. In reality, it's probably the new Bug. Although the old ones kick ass and are not girl cars at all.

yeah, new beetle... although I do know a guy who has a REALLY fast turbocharged newbeetle. Not the factory turbo, he got his before that jazz, and he is far from feminine.

Miatas, or MX-5 as it's called now, is actually "trackable" so I respect it; it's a design inspired by the old British roadsters, some of the most un-girlie cars I can think of. Also, I see far more men driving these than women.

VW Cabrio, on the other hand.... ugh, don't even get me going.

I also see more men driving Miatas, but that might be because the car is a total chick magnet. Girls are definitely attracted to Miatas, but the Miata might have a little too much "zoom-zoom" to qualify as a chick car.

Generally, though, I think it can be said that most common convertables could qualify as girlie cars. (Of course, exotics don't count.) By "common," I mean Cavaliers, Sebrings, any VW softtop, PT Cruisers, Fireflies, even Mustangs - mostly stuff that was never designed as a softtop.

Camaro

Don't forget the Camaro. I see more fems driving Camaros than men. I would also agree on the VW Bug and Eclipse. The PT Cruiser would probably also qualify. I think you were a bit narrow on your poll.

I dont think the poll was too narrow. I asked about the GIRLIEST car, and got an overwhelming response to the VW beetle. I would say that settles it. Although I wish I had put the Ford Focus on there. I'm surprised no one mentioned that particular car anywhere in this thread.
