Is that some groovy pop combo?

For a man whose idea of a pickup is a mid-engined Honda, your social education is curiously patchy.

Are you in the Atlantis part of Guernsey by any chance??

Well, i'm his friend...I just wish he'd stop being so...what's the word...

He's been better in some threads. In fact, I heard him refer to his Neon as a "rattlebox"

Randy, Doug, Steve, Chris, etc...when are you going to show some backbone and pull the plug on this jerk?

I now put a motion on the table to ban Ca$h. Will someone out there please second it so our "Network Officers" can finally get off their duffs and do something instead of acting like typicl politicians.

Larry Singer

PS: Ca$h, I tried being nice. I tried giving you some advice. None of that worked. Someday you are going to shoot your mouth off once too often, and someone is going to punch your lights out. I just hope that you're not too badly injured and that you finally learn you lesson.

Dear Mr. Singer,
Politicians, though we may be, the Officers are officers of the SVX World Network and that Network only serves to support the forums. We do not own them, we do not control them, we have no power to excommunicate anyone. We can "ask," just like you, but, again, we have no ability to control any aspect of the Forums.
Even as "moderators" Mike and I have limited abilities. We can edit and delete posts and threads, but, we, as moderators, cannot excommunicate, or ban anyone. So, your references to our backbones are misplaced.

There are only two people with the power to ban or excommunicate. You should know who they are, so, I suggest you send them a Personal Message with your recommendation, as should all who share your angst. If enough people share your thoughts, and they are expressed to the appropriate person, I'm sure appropriate action will be taken.

Thank you for your concern and your post.

With kindest regards.

1. I support off topic posts
2. I'm not promoting neons, I was promoting information. When someone states that an SVX is 'fast' while a neon is 'slow', they are MISINFORMED, because as proven in another thread, they have almost identical power to weight ratios, and depending on the driver the neon could possibly be in front of the SVX til about 60mph.
3. Look at the votes. We have 4 people on this forum who admittedly turn into assholes over a CAR. Who's immature?
4. We have some people (who were previously respected by me) wanting to ban me. For what? What have I done? Disagreed with you? Who's immature?

Guys cool down a bit please. It is a nice season to be peaceful.

Rob,
Like Doug said, the nature of topic was relavent. However, your last response in this thread was not really needed - IMO.

As for the rest of the guys, give the guy a break. I personally do think that Rob has changed a little. He still has some issues to work through but compare to the first time he came over, this is a hell of a lot better.

For those that have access to the hidden forum (you all know who you are), I think we may have a slightly bigger issue on our hand than Ca$h. I am not saying this is a panic alarm but this is another topic that may need discussion since the board meeting is going to come up soon. I will post there in a minute.

I would like to end my post by saying that we all should calm down a little and let's enjoy the holidays.

May I make a proposal?

I think a huge amount of misunderstanding on this site is directly due to a shortage......

....of additional, meaningful, expressive.....

....little yellow smilies.

We are currently trapped into using 11.....just 11.....smilies to cover the entire spectrum of human emotion. It follows that someone will accidently use the wrong smilie to convey their thoughts and emotions, or none at all.....and be totally misunderstood. For example, on a site I visited recently there were all kinds of little action smilies that showed extreme anger,
hatred, lack of mental maturity, sex......

on second thought, forget it. I like it the way it is.... Don

I disagree. I think that option NEEDED to be there. Look, 5 people voted! Do you know WHY I put it in there? Because SOME people on these forums who were previously considerate nice people turn into complete assholes whenever the word 'neon' is remotely mentioned.

Who's problem is that? THEIRS. Its not like I'm starting a topic like "Hey, you guys should all get neons, they're so awesome". HELLO!?! I sold my neon to buy my SVX, so obviously I prefer the SVX. Its just that I have a LOT of experience and knowledge with the little cars, and some people just can't be mature enough to respect me PURELY because of the car I used to drive, its just pathetic.

- Ca$h

PS: Even "Green Marine" sent me a PM saying he understands what I mean and that he's sorry he came off the way he did. I'll PM him to see if I can post his PM.

I thought the previous post was the last post but...

<< Because SOME people on these forums who were previously considerate nice people turn into complete assholes whenever the word 'neon' is remotely mentioned.>>

Rob,
The reason why people do that is because of what you did. If you did not post your previous posts fighting for a neon and saying that I am a know-it-all neon god, no one would be doing that at all. Trust me. I drove a camaro. I love the car. If I have spare money, I'd go get one in a heartbeat. But I don't go to a SVX forum and say Camaros are the best.

<<Who's problem is that? THEIRS. >>
yeah. It's theirs. Let it go man. It's not worth it. It's not worth getting banned.

Well, I mean, technically a Neon IS slow...fast and slow doesn't pertain to 0-60, it pertains to top end. My 1992 can do 149 without any mods except for a removed resonator. Can your Neon go that fast without any mods? I'm JUST WONDERING here...I doubt it, but I don't know.

And i'm also wondering, can your Neon do 0-60 in 7.2 seconds? That was the WORST time I got...the best I got was 6.9. And this was summer. So, can it?

I don't want you banned. Sometimes your fun. But others your really difficult to get around without causing something, and I think you know it. Why did you post this thread?
