Hopefully you paid through Paypal. Try contacting him but if he has disappeared again, file a complaint. Do attempt to contact him first.

I have multiple times...even went to the bank to solve problem, they couldn't help. He didn't have paypal acct..go figure.

File a complaint through paypal. But if he didn't have a paypal account (not surprised) and it was sent another way, I'm sorry to say there is not much you can do. What part did he not send?

Yes and he disappeared when questioned. You can find the thread here. If he ever comes back I will make it a point to point out his inconsistent past when selling parts. Maybe so newer people will know and not have this happen.

Sorry to hear that that happened. I was "warned" via PM about doing business with him, when I showed interest in buying something from him here on the thread. After a few PMs back and forth, he never sent pictures and stopped responding, and I forgot all about it. I made a point to say that I would only pay via paypal.

Maybe time for mod/admin action?

Hey guys how about posting in the "general discussion" or somewhere higher up in the folder list about the latest or ongoing scammers, not 3 or four folders in....just a suggestion.

I've been a member since 2004 and in the past learned of some of the main culprits, but since I seldomly post much anymore, it's not natural to search the scammers section if I need a part first.

Same deal with me... he offered to sell me a used ECUtune chip & asked me how much I wanted to pay but I guess he didn't like my offer & stopped responding to my emails. In retrospect I'm glad he did. (I could still use an ECUtune chip-- doesn't need to be the latest version.)

You should save up and get the latest ECUtune version, I just updated mine and it new version made a pretty nice difference.
