different driveshafts from different years?

I just took off the driveshaft from the 92 parts car i have and its way different from my 94
the 92 is a 1piece and the 94 is a 2 piece.
can anyone confirm that there was a difference?

Re: different driveshafts from different years?

In 92 the LS had a single piece driveshaft, and the LS-L has a two-piece driveshaft.
I'm betting this continued on with the lower end having single and higher end models having the twopiece.
