Repairs to my SVX

Well lately I been posting the cosmetic things I have been doing to my SVX.
Today so I thought I would list what I have had replaced mechanically.

These parts were installed by professional garage on April 13-16th, so one month ago.
Unfortunately I was unable to be in the shop to take pics while repairs were being made.

It was my job to get all the parts together for them, I tried to make it as easy as I could for them.

I bought new nuts, bolts, and washers for every part that was to be replaced.

Ended up getting a box in the mail with over 100 pieces in it.

I didn't want to just hand them the box with 100 miscellaneous pieces and hope for the best, so I bagged and tagged it all.
Each bag included a diagram of where the parts go with a Ref#, and a sheet listing part numbers to matching Ref#.

Mechanic said I saved them a lot of time and encouraged me to bring in my own parts anytime.

Rebuild Both Front Calipers:

Replace Ball Joints

Replace Outer Tie Rod Ends

Replace PCV

Replace Valve Cover Gaskets - Both Sides:
Both sides packs have same parts, didn't bother to take pics of second pack

Pics of Everything:

If you look carefully at the papers in the picture below you can make out the diagrams coming through from the sheet below.
The REF# on the printout corresponds to the diagram showing them where each nut and bolt goes.

Cost:
Parts: $553
Labor: $640
Grand Total: $1193
Time: 4 days

-------------------------------

So $1200 repairs + another $1200 for the new wheels and tires = $2400.
Add in the Gaskets and nuts to reinstall the rear spoiler. $35
Add in the new Oil Dipstick. $15

That is $2,450 I spent on the SVX in a 30 day period.

It hurts, but she deserves it.

I told the previous owner that I would take good care of her, and that is a promise I intend to keep.

Re: Repairs to my SVX

Well the valve cover gaskets were leaking even though the previous owner had replaced them only 7month ago (I have receipts).
Oil was leaking from the washers around the bolts.
Seeing that he did the gaskets/washers, and it was leaking again, I wanted new bolts in case it was leaking from them being stripped or something.
Figured $25 in bolts is worth the piece of mind knowing that I have replaced everything.
So I decided to install all new bolts. It doesn't leak a drop now.
