tiny battery

In the on going attempt to get more space in the engine bay, my friend picked up a really tiny batter, called dyna bat or something like that. it retails for around $130. seams to work really well, given he doesn't have any large draw on his electrical system. This thing is about 1/4th the size of a normaly battery.

if any of you are interested let me know and i'll find out where he got it

That is a dry cell system. http://www.performancedistributors.com/batteries.htm

I'd be curious how it will do at extreme temperatures compared to a wet cell or an absorbed electrolyte like the Optima.

Let us know how he finds the performance over the next few seasons.

so far he's had it for 7 - 8 months and it's still running good.

I have a optima yellow top that i've had for 2 years, it doesn't seam to work as well now as it did when I 1st got it. It's been on the charger all night, and i'm going to see how it works when i get home. it's been running my 914, which was stored for the winter, so the battery lost it's charge.

I have an optima red top and If I remember right it was warranted for 7 years. I think the 1st 5 years were a no questions asked, no pro-rating exchange.
