Try the crystal view headlight restoration system. It works pretty good 4 a while. They have a website you can order it from and also a short infomercial on you tube.

I found that motorcycle windscreen polish is cheap and works well on our headlights. It is something that I have not seen others here try, but I have used it on polycarbonate with success. Just a thought.

+1 for this.. I pick it up from walmart for under $20 and its worked like a charm.. took about 30 mins to do both headlights and the grill

I went with this one, and I have to admit that I'm blown away by the results. I'm very skeptical of anything that's advertised on TV or suggested by the parts stores (usually not professional quality stuff). Amazingly though, the $20 i spent on it was more than worth it. I spent more time than recommended prepping the lights, but hey, gotta do it right.

Now to see how long it will last.

I did the wetsand, then coated the lenses with Future floor wax about a month ago. The results still look great. I wasn't sure how it'd hold up through washing the car ETC, but it's done better than I expected.

Tried the Crystal View myself this weekend on my 92. I am sill amazed at the results.

I had just paid for 2 new lens assy's for my daughters 97 Legacy GT at $190.00 each! THEN, I read the post about the Crystal View and decided for $20.00 don't have much to loose since when I checked SVX lens assy's were $350.00 apiece (ouch)

Of course time will tell, but process is pretty easy. Glad I found the post here!

Where did you all find this stuff? I'm in Dallas and can't find it at Wal Mart as some have mentioned.

If one wal-mart has it, then probably all do.

It comes in a foil pouch. I had a heck of a time trying to find it but I was looking for a different packaging. It's there.

I found it at Advance Auto Parts. Their website says it's also available at K-Mart and Wal-Mart. The webiste would be the sure-fire way to go. Otherwise, Permatex also makes a kit similar to this one, but I've heard it has less impressive results.

That's pretty much what the kit is that I used with a few differences. The kit comes with 1500 and 2500 grit to wet sand with as well as two chemicals that I assume are a clear coat and wax.
