It's gotta be the mother of all scams, but what the heck is in it??? Lets see, with this junk and a bright flash your plates are illegable, something to do with the flash, eigh???

Hmmmmmm, If it is that reflective, it might make your car easier to get picked up by Laser.

At the OC Car Show there was a just patented plate cover. Under normal conditions the plate was perfectly visible, but if you had a current going through it, the plastic cover turned white (something to do with the molecules realligning and the jigawatts controlling the flux capacitor reconfiguring). Definately illegal, but would be lots of fun, and only $300.
The guy said he designed it so that if you were at a show you could white out your plate so noone could track down your car to steal it. I doubt that's what it will be used for...

Apparently it's also sold in craft shops as "Folk Art Hi Shine Glaze".
I'm sure it's a scam. Even if it wasn't, it wouldn't take the cops long to track down the only SVX owner within 100 miles.

Yeah its nothing more than basically Hi-Gloss clear paint...I've also seen pam used for the same effect and its also non stick.
