Surprise at the Home Depot
I came out of Home Depot in Burlington to find a 92 Liquid Silver SVX parked next to my Pearl. As I got closer, I saw a person in it and got to meet him. Jim is the owner and he lives in Stanwood. He bought it about 3 weeks ago and is still finding out some of the features that it has. I told him about this site and the NWSVX site and he said that he would check us out. I told him about the meets and he was very interested in the maintenance aspect of it.
 It isn't often that when you go to your SVX that there is another one parked by it.

See, that's how you know a fellow enthusiast, when they are the one to park next to another SVX.
The usual "it's just the car I happen to drive right now" folks would almost purposely park away from another SVX, or possibly not even see it as they drive right by.So that is indeed a surprise and rare occurence, to have an owner not already affiliated with these sites to make the "first move".

I often park next to others but when I come back out to my car the other is still there, so I guess mine never gets noticed.
 Oh yea and one time I parked next to one and then I realized mine couldn't get noticed if it really wanted to be, cuz... I was in the Cobra! I just forget sometimes, hehe. There's quite a few SVX over on the eastside.

The other day I came walking out of the washroom at work and the boss says ...how did you do that? Do what? I just saw you pull in. He looks again and there are two Pearlies sitting in the parking lot side by side.The owner went over into the BMW lot and they told him that I worked across the road. So he came a cross into the store and we had a good chat. Told him about the site and all that goes on here,and that his mags where on backwards.

We had a good talk too, but it was pouring down rain and we both got soaked. We laughed as we got into our cars about how crazy we were for doing that. It comes with the SVX Feaver I guess.
