SVX Meet Records
I thought it might be cool to start an ongoing archive of SVX gathering attendance records. Just to see what some of the groups and regions out there have accomplished and maybe inspire a little friendly competition too.
I've started the list with a couple of ours that I have solid records of, I know we've had some other big ones in our area in the past but I don't have exact figures so maybe someone else has a better memory. I've also added the Reading numbers just cause they were easy to find. Not sure where to cut the list off, top 20, etc, but let's keep updating this list as time goes on and records are broken. Largest SVX Gatherings in History 1. ?? 10th Anniversary Meet 7/?/02 Lafayette, IN 2. 44 Reading V 3. 43 Reading IV 4. 38 Reading III 5. 23 Reading I 6. 19 Reading II 7. 16* NWSVX Tech Day 3/6/04 Burlington, WA *6 of the SVXes were Earl's, so "fair" number may be 11 8. 14* NWSVX Fall Colors Tour II 11/8/03 Snohomish County, WA *Most SVXes together at the same time was 12. Most SVXes Driving on the Road in a Continuous Line (for more than 2 miles) 1. 12 NWSVX Fall Colors Tour II 11/8/03 Snohomish County, WA

Just going by Randy's post, anyone confident of numbers can change them, add their own meets, drives, etc. That's what it's for.

Oh well. Hopefully the organized "numbers guys" will chime in and make some of these numbers more official.

I'm not sure how many we had for the VT meet, but it looks like it'd fit between Reading 1 and Reading 3. I think there were just under 30 cars there.
Which, coincidentally, blew me right the hell away.

Troy,
There were only 96 SVXes at the USA 10th Anniv. SVX Meet. However, I beleive there were 111- 116 SVXes at the Japanese 10th Anniv. SVX Meet. I am counting cars not SVXers. For example, at Reading V, Chris came in his RX, not his SVX. His RX was not counted to reach the 44 car total. That total is real. The 44th SVX was Lamboman's. He came late Satuday night and he is trying to sell it.

And... we had 9 cars at our western Colorado meet in Feb 2003. More than I expected.
(Am I even getting close?)

I do know from experience that even only six cars in a row driving down the hwy attracts attention. As well as six cars all lined up at Sonic for lunch.....

Okay, I've updated the "official" list with some of the "best guesses" and numbers. Hopefully some of the numbers can be fimed up by the statisticians out there, at the very least now that we have this list we can have accurate numbers going forward.

next meet
What really would be great is to organize a nopi trip starting up north and picking up members along the way,I'm sick of every import made having tours except the svx I mean nothing but svxes, then we would get the attention of major car magazines, they won't come to us so lets go to them.
