Angry Dispersed svx!!

My svx got big a problem that is when it accelerates from 40 to 80 Km, the steer wheel will shake so badly and also some abnormal noise occured form front(?) then whole car shakes.

But over the 90 Km everything is fine, engine running smoothly, the RPM is pointed at 2250 even faster.

Is the engine cause this happen or transmission?

By the way my car has been replaced flex plate and torque convertor rebulid on Oct.

I'm sure the engine is in good condition. It just pasted emission!

Please help me if you know

Thanks!!

James

Normally when you get shaking but only at certain speeds it a sign that your wheels are out of balance. Start with getting a 4 wheels balanced and while your getting that done you might as well get the front end aligned. Hopefully that will clear it up for you.

Chris.

and if the wheel balancing doesn't do it, get the car up on a lift and start checking out the front suspension pieces...

I agree. If this was a wheel balancing issue, it wouldn't stop above certain speeds - it would just get worse. I suspect the suspension.

Hey James, sounds as though you may have something more than a whell balance issue.

I'm in Vancouver, send me a PM, and maybe we could meet up and I could go for a drive.
I have a great mechanic in Richmond who can do a 4 wheel alignment and have a look at the problem for you, plus Docksteader Subaru have also been very helpful.

P.S. My car failed Aircare with very high NOx.
