Meet in Prescott, AZ????

On October 5th in Prescott AZ, Subaru will be participating in a rally. I don't know if it will be the new WRC or the old one, but the race should be sweet anyway. I'm planning on going right now, and I know that some of the sweeter SVX's are located in Phoenix and Tuscon. I thought it'd be a great opportunity to hang out with the SVX's and the WRC. Anybody whos's interested lemme know.

Geez!

Well, looks like there won't be many SVX's in Prescott. C'mon y'all. I know you want to meet out there. Watch the WRC, lots of SVX's, can't get any better than that. So, let's go. I know that there are more than 2 SVX's in the general area of AZ.

Hey guys, if you tell me the date and I come can you guys tell me what's wrong with my car? :-) I checked out CarFax.com and they told me it had been in an accident in Mesa and I assume that's why they hood dosen't close all the way. (at least I think it doesn't close all the way) Oh yeah, and you can also show me how to keep my Oil dipstick from coming up all the time.

Look on the handle end of the dipstick where it goes into the tube. There should be an O-ring there. You can replace it with a new one and it should stay in place.

If that doesn't work, then you might need a new PCV valve

October 5th

October 5th is the date of the rally...so I was thinkin that night/next morning we could do some SVX stuff. I don't know Prescott for ish, though, so maybe somebody else knows of a good place to meet and some good stuff (other than the rally) to do. I'm looking forward to it, especially if we cann get lots of SVX's there.

Gimme some details

Sounds good...gimme some details (closer to the race) about where you want to meet and such. If you want, we can start doing this through e-mail since it appears it's not gonna be a big thing that the club needs to know about. My e-mail is mateodenewmexico@hotmail.com
I'm looking forward to this...have i mentioned that yet?

You need a new 'O' ring for the dipstick.

Mine stopped popping up after I had the tranny replaced. (Don't ask -- I have no idea what a new tranny has to do with the oil dipstick)

I looked and, sure enough, there was a nice black ring of crap on the dipstick handle and no O-ring. I guess it's a trip to Pep Boys for the assorted O-ring box. Maybe I can get one and do the O-ring fix for the power steering too.
