damn, makes me proud to own one of these cars !!
the CD kicks ass !! Just mostly training info for salespersons
but its really a cool DVD to watch.
Use alot of the Pearl cars in it too !!
Maybe if some of us where salespeople at the time
more cars would of been sold.
think Ill watch it again.....

I have one, too. I got it last night and watched about half of it this morning. I didn't have the same reaction as Dayle, though - mine was more like, 'no wonder Subaru couldn't sell this car.'

I just got an order from the dealer on Saturday. While I was their I was eying up a Ha-Ha while I waited for everything. The salesperson was real interested in giving me a great deal on it. Figuring I would shut him up I simply asked if a scoop of mulch would fit in the back- His reply "Oh yeah you just need to put the back down (now my Brat bed is 20 inches longer and even with the back down a nice pile forms behind it).

Okay that didn't work so I asked how much it holds in the bed. The guy went on to tell me that the bed itself is rated to 2400lbs. Really I said. Yeah, you can haul 4 people and 2400lbs in the bed. Now I know where he got that 2400lbs from its it tow rating but not wanting to argue with him I simply said if you can get 2400lbs in the back and 4 200lbs people up front of that thing and drive it over some of PAs finest potholes with not a single issue I'll give you full price for the thing on the spot.

Idiots like this are why the SVX never sold.

Four More DVDs Posted

I've put 4 more DVDs up for auction.

I toyed with the idea of making a "collector's edition" with special added footage of the making of the SVX DVD. But that would have just been boring shots of me in front of my computer so I decided against it.

John, I received my DVD yesterday and watched some of it last night. You did a great job. Thanks for the effort.

I did something stupid...I picked up my DVD on my way to work (came in yesterday but I wasn't home). Now I'm sitting here with it in front of me and no way to watch it until I get home!

Thumbs up

I got my SVX DVD and watched it last night. Great job, John. I can't wait to show it to my brother who sold me the car and didn't know much about it then, to appreciate it. He didn't even know that you can fold the backseat down Everytime he visits me, he still gets excited looking at his ex-SVX and usually asks to borrow it and take it for a spin. He wished he never parted with it. Well, it's mine now, and I'm taking better care of it. After watching that DVD, I feel so fortunate to own one of these cars.
