I picked up a stone on the Mass Pike one morning, put a small hole that started a crack up the window. Insurance Co. didn't bat an eye about it, said "go get it fixed", no deductable, no no questions.

Stone
"YOU picked up the stone?"
I wish I'd pick up a stone. No issues getting the windshield in MA? How long did it take? The crack was the key huh?

In Mass there is no deductable on glass and windshields are covered under the basic coverage. It took a couple of days for the class folks to get the windshield and a couple of hours to put it in. Had it fixed in Burlington at a place recommended by the insurance agent.
Great job, no leaks.

Enough!
With all this talk about cracking windshield's, I think I've mentally projected that fear onto my car!
I get into the Impreza this morning and there is a crack in the middle of the windshield staring from the left side! It's only 201.40 to fix. They'll be coming to the house to fix it =) |
