who to trust

fsm says a po145 is left front o2 and scanner company shows it being right rear o2. so who's right?

hi i was able to get throught to STIS and read the manual ,po145 is the left front sensor ,i bet your monitor says 023r which is a subaru monitor page number ,po145 is slow responce .make sure you have no exhuast leaks around the sensor area before replacing it

thanks charlie. this code has been popping up for months and the scanner company software states it is bank 1 sensor 3 i've tried cleaning up the connections,tip of the o2 sensor,replacing the sensor(rear) and i don't see any obvious signs of exhaust problems (which doesn't ruled it out.) and the car passed emissions this year. i've never had a conflict of information before.I guess i'll take out the front 02 and clean it up to see if that helps. thanks for your reply. dennis
