Hi, had a nice lady kindly reverse her VW Caravelle into me outside
School. Created a small hole in OS corner. Bodyshop said they'd given
me a new one, but when a very small amount of bubbling appeared a few weeks later, i kinda
knew that they had lied. Went mad, they apoloigised, new bumper now
fitted ( and a few odd Car Park dinks etc now sprayed in free of
Charge on the car ).
Bumper in very good condition. I have photos I can send you.
Not too sure whether Bumper fits all, but mine is a late 1996 model.
Just got a quote from Subaru and they're looking for £550 inc VAT and 6 to 8 weeks lead time.
Guess I'd be looking at about £400, however, I need 2 Knock Sensors and a front bonnet badge so maybe a deal could be struck.

Sorry to hear about your close encounter with a Caravelle.

When you say "bumper", do you mean the outer plastic skin for the bumper, or do you mean complete with inner sections, the lot?

Just for the information of anybody interested, the '96 model year is the one with the all-over Bright Silver body colour.

I have a number of silver SVXs myself, they are all the older Liquid Silver, and your bumper will not colour match any of my cars.

Hi, it looks like just the outer casing. There's no 'bits' inside that I can see......said the Bishop...
