Question Door lock debug

Hi all,

The day before I bought my SVX the door lock were working. A couple days later, all I hear is a click sound (the relay called timer under dash passenger).

I removed the trim panel and saw that I got 12v at the actuator when the door lock/unlock button is pressed.

I tried unplugging the left actuator and the right one did not work. I did the same for right actuator, and no luck.

I removed the passenger actuator and put directly 12v across it. It did a spark but did not move.

Could both actuators be broken at the same time in a couple of days!?! How can I just open the actuator without breaking it?

Thanks

You need to open up the lid of the actuator and look inside. Check for broken, bent or corroded contacts.

It is for a 95 with central door locking button.
I tried to pry the cover of the actuator without any luck. Any tricks?

Undo the screws that hold the lid on.

there are small tabs on the center trim. Pry up but be careful not to break them

If you do end up needing a replacement:
