Date suggestions for Spring NWSVX events?
Time is flying by and the Awards Banquet is already over 2 months behind us! We should probably start making plans for our usual spring events, starting with some dates so folks can plan ahead of time!
 Here's what our spring/summer schedule looks like: April 7th - Subiefest 2 - Portland, OR ???????? - Maintenance Meet - Burlington, WA ???????? - Spring Classic - Puget Sound area? Gorge? Between? June 30th-July 1st - WCSS9 - Olympia, WA August 3rd - 5th - Seafood Fest! - Dabob Bay, WA So the Maintenance Meet and Spring Classic are needing dates. And I'm thinking for "somewhat even spacing", keeping them in the date range I have above (both events between Subiefest and WCSS9). To start, I've narrowed it down to a few dates that would work best for me.  (Hey, give me a break, I'm already missing two events so far this year!) I'm thinking there's gotta be a couple on this list that should work for the ones that would for sure show up to these events. Let's discuss for a couple days and then make the decisions. Earl will have final say on Maintenance Meet (since it's his house) and myself or a volunteer for the Spring Classic. April 14 April 21 April 28 June 2 June 16

April 21 - Reading 8 which I am going to. April 28 - My Vote June 2 June 16 April 14 or 28 would work for the Maintenance Meet, but the 28th would be better for advance notice and maybe getting better attendance. Either June 2 or 16 work for me on the Spring Classic.

It sounds like June 2nd might be the date for the Spring Classic?
Any conflicts speak now! It looks like the location will be up on the island and surrounding terrain like we did a couple years ago. The routes are already set so it will be easy to plan. And this scenery/location is definitley scenic and worth the trip for you folks down south (we can recommend some good lodging options too if you want to make a weekend of it, romantic or otherwise). It sounds like the Portland area folks are planning a Gorge run for late August so I decided to just do this.
