Touch up Paint?

I had a pow wow with a tree the other day and made about 6 inches of scratches on my front bumper and chipped a little paint. What would be the most cost effective method to fixing this madness? I will post pictures later. Should I buy some touch up paint from the dealer and attempt to repaint this section with barcelona red?

"I hit a tree" and "touchup paint" don't seem to go together well..

befriend a used car manager. He can dish it out to his touchup guy and will give you a better result.

Right, I'm just thinking in the meantime to avoid corrosion. The car is not perfect but the tree was in my dark driveway

I'll second that. You bear down on the tip trying to get a little paint to flow and end up with a bleepin' puddle.

Also... I don't know if all SVX colors were clear-coated, but if yours is, buy the Paintscratch clearcoat, too.

No need to worry about corrosion. No metal under the bumper paint. Just good ol' black rubbery stuff.

Painted 97 Grille

The day was sunny with temperatures in the upper 70's, Saturday, so I decided to paint the '97 grille with the Liquid Silver and Acrylic Lacquer clear coat from paintscratch.com (12 oz. spray cans). Great match, just need to do the recommended rubbing compound to bring out the sheen. Thanks for the lead svxcess.
