Top Gear on Discovery Channel
Wednesday nights at 10EST.
Watch it, fools! Instead of leaving the episodes as they were (which wouldn't have worked anyway - fewer breaks on the BBC), somebody did a fine job cutting the segments into new episodes that work better for an American audience. The interviews and news segments are gone. In between the reviews and other segments, they recorded new studio footage - they even got live audiences and brought in the cars from the segments. The hosts speak directly to an American audience and pounds are even converted to US dollars in subtitles. It's awesome.

hehe, they needed subtitles???
I think I've watched all of the TopGear episodes. Can you believe the Mclaren-Mercedes SLR supercar can empty it's 21 IMP gallon tank in 19 minutes?

The one that was on yesterday was like a year old.

Good show
I noticed they blurred out some names like Ford and Volvo. What’s up with that?
Again, old episode, but still good. |

Alright! I'm in luck they re-broadcast them at 1am. I guess I'll soon find out how the sliced, diced and spliced for American audiences compares to the British broadcasted.
