but doesnt that strike you as a little weird? 25,000 miles in 4yrs. this must have been a leisure car for this guy or maybe a second or third car. who knows?

anyway thanks for all your efforts.

also that means it took 7 months to sell my car. i have a manufactured date of 5/94.

hey man thanks a lot it was really cool to see where my car came from. still some mystery about this svx but i guess it really doesnt matter.
I think that people just got tired of having the suckers on the lot, after trade-in, and wound up auctioning them. Mine was also auctioned after it's original owner apparantly traded it in in PA. It went to the "Southeast Regional" auction and was, thereafter, licensed int TN (Nashville). It was then, repoed in Nashville and, as luck would have it, an local bank (in Evansville, IN) owned the paper. It was bought by the eventual lot on which it sat when I bought it, driven for a short while (original owner in PA, traded in with 103K on the clock subsequent mileage listing was 106K, at auction, and I bought it with 109K), and the legendary Legacy tranny installed along the way.

Leo,
Don't worry about it at all. Mine was auctioned off too. If the car does not get sold for more than 6 months from a dealer, it cost dealer money so they normally auction them off. Not a big deal.

The ones to watch out for are the Odo roll back and NAM(Not Actual Milage) I am not sure which one is worse. Mine was first leased then sold to the first owner.

I have seen that GA DMV has got a couple of SVXes in their fleet. I have seen at least 3 SVXes with fleet reg. that came out of GA DMV. Odd uh?

i think they have.......

a big parts distribution center there. maybe atlanta is the biggest southern city so subaru targeted them as a market for the svx.

Weekend "chick magnet" for the sales staff. Remember, they can usually have their pick of cars off the lot for daily/weekend use. They only drove it when they needed that WTH! factor.

WTH = "What the Hell . . . (is that)!?!?" With that in mind, on this network, you will occasionally see "WTF" -- It doesn't stand for "World Tiddlywinks Federation," however, I won't spell that one out, since this is a family site.
