The movie RONIN

Anyone see it? I thought it was pretty good, but not in the same league as other Deniro movies like "The Score", "Heat" and "Taxi Driver".

Anyway, what were the cars the bad guys were driving? They were black, and I THINK they were citrons, two chevrons on top of each other in the grill.

But besides the symbol, the front end looks a LOT like an SVX, only with fog lights!!!!!!! Check it out if you have time!

Saw the movie about four years ago. I think those cars may have been Peugeot. Not sure, memory is fuzzy.

If you have the movie on DVD, make sure to listen to John Frankenheimer's commentary. Well, let me be more specific - listen to his commentary only during the chase scenes. For the rest of the movie he's got nothing to say, but during the chase scenes, he reveals some interesting stuff about how those scenes were shot.

Were those puegots an italdesign design? They front end looks VERY VERY SVX-ish.

They had Citroens and Peugeots. The Peugeot has a lion, the Citroen the double chevron. There was also a Mercedes-Benz and an Audi.
