Angry Help, question about reman trans

There are some issues with the SOA reman trans that I just had put in.

I am getting conflicting reports from two parties and I need to know if a transmission remanufactured by Subaru comes with a new speed sensor #2. Or if the sensor needs to be used off of the old unit.

Also, Is it possible that a bad speed sensor can cause a Code #11 for Selenoid A.

The dealer seems to be trying to get out of honoring the warranty and I need some info to fight for justice.

I would think a remade box would have all the wearable parts replaced, including the solenoids and sensors. Otherwise what would be the point, if a worn sensor fails two weeks after fitting it.

No a speed sensor wont cause a Code 11 for solenoid A.

Harvey.

My Suby rebuilt tranny that I put in last year did not come with the speed sensor. It's a spendy part so be sure and keep your old one if it was working.

I have had it back for a week now.

The dealer replaced the trans under warranty

I did have to buy a new speed sensor
Also had to get another TCU (thanks Mike)
