barely beat a 240SX...

I thought I was going to dust the guy, but I only managed about 2 car lengths by the time I hit 80. After that though, he couldn't hang. I definitely need more power and a 5 speed tranny. :-)

240's are pretty quick

I almost bought one before I got the SVX. It only has about 160hp but also only weighs about 2400. The one I looked at was kinda sketchy though so I passed (speedo didn't work, had been repainted, wrinkles on the hood, front dash/console wasn't attached very well). The odometer said 71k but the interior looked to have much more wear so I'm guessing it was in an accident and the dash was replaced (with one that had only 71k) and they forgot to reconnect the speedo.

P.S. There's also a couple of different trim lines with different specs

all have KA24DE engines, rated at 160 hp

You can swap an SR20DET in as solar stated can make big power (much like the 4G63) with a fairly small pocket. I see more and more of them all the time.
