For Sale, 92 LSL, passenger side damage only

Hi all, I had a 20mph guard rail hit on my SVX in February; the passenger side sideswiped; Since that time I was going to take care of the body work and get it going; however, it just isnt going to happen due to school/finances, and my own mechanical ability.

The passenger side needs a new door and front fender; quarter panel has some damage too. The front rim and tire need replacing; everything else is intact. I painted the car last summer; a charcol black

Engine and Transmission are both very strong, and have both had recent repairs; the battery is currently dead, but the car will start right up with a charge or jump; Im confident that with a tire/rim/battery, that this car can be driven away right now.

I am able to help with a fender and door in factory ebony and any other needed parts to anyone who might pick this up and am only about 2 hours away from Buffalo in Erie, PA.

A word of advice, I think you have pics in your other thread of the damage but perhaps putting a link to that post, or posting them here as well will help greatly with a sale. Also, putting a price will help. Many times, when no price is listed, many are afraid to mention too low a price, and others think that no price means scrap value. Just some friendly advice.

Thanks, I will try to think of a reasonable price; and I will get some pics up as well; also thank you for the help with the parts before; unfortunatley I just wont be able to fix it at this time.

The car has 152 K, however the engine was resealed about 20K ago; new ball joints, wheel bearings, and brakes approx 25K ago; I have installed HID headlights into the car; A 4.44 transmission was installed with rear end approx. 40K ago. Oil changes strictly at 3k miles were maintained over the past few years of owning this car.

The damage isnt terrible; currently the passenger side door is stuck shut; however, I havent really tried too hard to pull it open; frame is untouched according to the insurance company; but I decided to not claim it, as the insurance raise wouldnt have been worth it.

Im trying to get somewhere around 1700 or so for it; however that price is not Firm; I realize that some work will need to be put into it and that It needs to be picked up as well; so Im open to all offers at this point. Please dont hesitate to reply to this thread, send me a PM, or reply to my previously listed Gmail address.

Not as bad as I though it was going to look. Rear 1/4 is the worse part, new tire and rim and you could drive it as you repair it. How much is the door and fender worth? That would help est. the bidding $$$ .

Nate quoted me some very decent prices, I don't have the exact figures on me but it was exfremley reasonable. I will search through my messages and see if I can find the exact prices.

No one interested? Im willing to take 900$ I just want an enthusiast to have a nice svx on the road. The parts alone are worth well over that. As soon as I graduate med school im buying another one, but just don't have the time to get it fixed or id keep it.

This is always the case with an SVX. I just picked up 2, for a combined total of less than your original asking price. Both of them rust free, low miles and mechanically ok other than one having a seized water pump.
EVERY SVX I have purchased is worth more in parts than the price I've paid for them. It's as simple as that. If you have the space, store it until you can get the parts to fix it, or use it for parts once you get another one. Or, if it sits long enough, and the price drops, and I sell more stuff, my dumbass will probably come take it off your hands...

I'm tapped out at the moment. I just picked up 3 in the last 2 weeks.

I'm also not going to be working the next 2 weeks as I'm going home to visit and take care of getting my SVX stuff that I have back there more organized.
I'll be listing one of the SVXes for sale shortly as I've been swamped by work and haven't had time to throw the pump and belt back on the one and do a full checkover. Probably won't happen until I return. Give it a month longer for sale and then I can more seriously consider it. (even though I shouldn't

The engine is very strong; 148k miles; new timing belts, water pump; had the engine resealed about 25k miles ago. Im not looking to make a fortune; just fair price; PM me and we can talk more
